Joel-Peter Witkin

Joel-Peter Witkin is an American photographer who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico. His work often deals with such themes as death, corpses (and sometimes dismembered portions thereof), and various outsiders such as dwarfs, transsexuals, hermaphrodites, and physically deformed people. Witkin’s complex tableaux often recall religious episodes or famous classical paintings. [from Wikipedia]

As a collector of Joel-Peter Witkin’s photographs as well as other dark pieces of art, I would be interested in purchasing some of the works of Aeron Alfrey. Could you please send me information regarding the sizes, media, availability and prices. Thank you, Eric Johnson

    • What a great collection that would be! I’m from Albuquerque as well, but i don’t think i’ve actually seen his photographs in person… although i think UNM might own some.
As far as Aeron Alfrey’s work is concerned, i’m not connected to him other than being a fan of his art. I know they are digital works, made in Photoshop i believe. His website says to email him for those details at
      Hope this helps!
