Morbid Anatomy

The Morbid Anatomy Library is a private research library and collection of curiosities run by Morbid Anatomy in Brooklyn, New York. Open hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6 PM or by appointment.

The library and cabinet makes available a collection of curiosities, books, photographs, artworks, ephemera, and artifacts relating to medical museums, anatomical art, collectors and collecting, cabinets of curiosity, the history of medicine, death and society, natural history, arcane media, and curiosity and curiosities broadly considered. The present Morbid Anatomy Library Scholar in Residence is Evan Michelson of Obscura Antiques and Oddities and the new television show “Oddities.” [from the Morbid Anatomy Library]

Kindertrauma

Kindertrauma is about the movies, books, and toys that scared you when you were a kid. It’s also about kids in scary movies, both as heroes and villains. And everything else that’s traumatic to a tyke!

Feral House

Adam Parfrey’s Feral House is an independent publishing company responsible for many amazing books that would otherwise go unreleased. The books cover a wide variety of subjects, typically on “underground” subjects. A few of the FH books I own include: the Apocalypse Culture books, Death Scenes: A Homicide Detective’s Scrapbook, American Hardcore (history of the 1980s californian hardcore scene) and War is a Racket by Smedley Butler. Feral House is diverse, it is underground, it is awesome.
