Kindertrauma is about the movies, books, and toys that scared you when you were a kid. It’s also about kids in scary movies, both as heroes and villains. And everything else that’s traumatic to a tyke!
Through reviews, stories, artwork, and testimonials, we mean to remind you of all the things you once tried so hard to forget… [from Kindertrauma]
Adam Parfrey’s Feral House is an independent publishing company responsible for many amazing books that would otherwise go unreleased. The books cover a wide variety of subjects, typically on “underground” subjects. A few of the FH books I own include: the Apocalypse Culture books, Death Scenes: A Homicide Detective’s Scrapbook, American Hardcore (history of the 1980s californian hardcore scene) and War is a Racket by Smedley Butler. Feral House is diverse, it is underground, it is awesome.
The Atlas Obscura is the definitive guidebook and friendly tour-guide to the world’s most wondrous places.
User-generated and editor curated, the Atlas is a collaborative compendium of amazing places that aren’t found in your average guidebook.
If you’re looking for miniature cities, glass flowers, books bound in human skin, gigantic flaming holes in the ground, bone churches, balancing pagodas, or homes built entirely out of paper, the Atlas Obscura is where you’ll find them.
